Marketing
Committee
Mission:
The mission of the Marketing Committee is to communicate in
an organized, timely and relevant manner the message of the NYS
GIS Association, and to assist in the growth and relevancy of
the Geospatial Information Technology (GIT) Profession in New
York State.
Vision:
The Marketing Committee will function as the mechanism that
quickly and efficiently provides information to the Association’s
members and facilitates outreach to the broader GIT community
in NYS on the Association and other relevant GIT activities,
news, events and opportunities.
Objectives:
- Help grow the Association
- Develop a Communications Plan
- Demonstrate the capabilities of geospatial technology to other professional groups
- Encourage professionalism through certification, award, and recognition
