Survey Legislation Sample Letter
The New York State GIS Association urges all members of the NYS geospatial community to take action on the proposed legislation by contacting their local State Senator and Assemblymember and making their opinions known. Below is a sample letter and referenced attachments which were requested by the members at our general meeting on May 20, 2008. Should you so choose to use this or something similar your position will be in alignment with that of the Association. Should you wish to express a different opinion, please feel free to do so as well. Whatever your opinion may be, we encourage you to make it known on this important issue.
